Something to think about on the ready set go aspect, is to obtain a modified flesh break, chad nelson has had a fair amount of time spent on creating the pass as a color change. He basically took what happens before and after the pass and made it disappear. What I mean is that he took the need for the deck to have any cover before the pass away and took the need to have any random finger movements during/after the pass away. Basically what I mean is think about modifying grips and making it so that you only need cover for about a second or two (depending on your pass). If you take away any need for cover before and after the pass, you make it so that any magician can be burning your hands and as tony said, he will say: “did you do the pass yet?”

I don't know if this was already mentioned, but something I see a lot, when people do the pass, is the position of their left thumb.
For me, it is an automatic giveway that a pass was done. Try watching videos, you can see them moving their from the side of the deck to the top.
I've been forcing myself to keep my thumb on the side so it is still in dealers grip.

You may want to look into Paul Wilson's 'West Coast Slow' manuscript. When I first saw Paul perform it, I had no clue as to what happened or when it happened for that matter. He also discusses how to do the pass immediately with no 'get-ready'. Here is the link: <a href="http://<a href="http://www.rpaulwilson.com/WCSLOW.htm"" target="_blank">www.rpaulwilson.com/WCSLOW.htm"</a>target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.rpaulwilson.com/WCSLOW...</a>" target="_blank">www.rpaulwilson.com/WCSLOW.htm</a></a>The Pass is very good angle wise (having witnessed it with another magician I should know)! Oh the nostalgia.
Kind regards,
Sheldon

I second that Alex. I was with Simon lovell and Jonathan at Fantasma and he showed his pass to Simon for some pointers and Simon compare Jonathan status of the pass to Derek dingles. He said dingle would be proud. What greater complement could there be. I look foreword to watching his video. I belive he learned his pass from a dingle book. I'm not sure though.

Johnathan is a really good friend of mine. I remember seeing his pass for the first time, and it blew me away. I'll try to film his pass and put it up here sometime.

It looks like you're trying to do it fast, the new top packet has a tendency to snap up into view, and even though you don't see the original top packet being swept off, you get this weird skip effect. I used to have that too, it's a side effect of the Erdnase thing where the new top packet pivots on the left thumb.
